Day 1 June 21: Santa Cruz to San Francisco - 84 miles with 2800 feet of climbing
Day 2 June 22: San Francisco to Santa Rosa - 65 miles with 3000 feet of climbing
Day 3 June 23: Santa Rosa to Sacramento - 94 miles with 3900 feet of climbing
Day 4 June 24: Sacramento to Grass Valley - 86 miles with 4000 feet of climbing
Day 5 June 25: Grass Valley to Salmon Creek - 67 miles with 6500 feet of climbing
Day 6 June 26: Salmon Creek to Lake Almanor - 75 miles with 3900 feet of climbing
Day 7 June 27: Lake Almanor to Old Station - 81 miles with 5200 feet of climbing
Day 8 June 28: Old Station to Mt. Shasta - 84 miles with 3200 feet of climbing

Day 23 July 13: Wild Goose State Park to Lolo Hot Springs - 88 miles

Planned Route:
We are mostly following the Sierra Cascade route north up Crater Lake, then we will head north west to Portland.  From there we will head east and mostly follow the Northern Route.  Below we have posted maps that show the general route using Google maps, but the specific route might change as we go.

Santa Cruz to Portland:
The first leg of our journey takes us north from Santa Cruz, California along the Sierra Cascade route to Portland, Oregon.

Portland to Portland:
After arriving in Portland, Oregon, we will begin the Portland to Portland phase of our trip traveling along a modified version of the Northern Tier route to Portland, Maine.
